Presenting The Neurobiology of Play Therapy

Why should you attend?
Play therapy is a rapidly growing field of specialized psychotherapy techniques and interventions for use with children and adults in a variety of settings. This conference will offer participants the opportunity to hear a renowned speaker.
On Friday, March 2nd Dr. Richard Gaskill, an internationally recognized presenter and leader in the field of play therapy will present a one day workshop entitled The Neurobiology of Play Therapy.
On Saturday, attendees will have the opportunity to hear Mariellen Griffith who will present Understanding Symbols in a Jungian Child Centered Sandplay and Play Therapy and Rachel Harrod, Mindi Littleton, and Joannie Hance will present Fun and Effective Family Play Therapy Techniques.

Social Workers, Counselors, Psychologists, Family Therapists, Psychiatrists, School Counselors, Child Life Specialists, Nurses, Educators and Graduate Students.

Continuing Education Certificates
12 continuing education contact hours will be available for play therapists, licensed social workers and licensed counselors. The Arkansas Association for Play Therapy is an approved provider by the Association for Play Therapy and by the National Board for Certified Counselors to offer continuing education specific to play therapy.
