Outstanding Play Therapist Award
Outstanding Practice Award
Recognizes a licensed professional who demonstrates excellence in the practice of play therapy and a strong commitment to supporting the emotional well-being of children and families. This award honors individuals who integrate play therapy effectively into their clinical work and contribute to the advancement of the field through professionalism, compassion, and continued growth.
Community Partnership Award
Recognizes an individual or organization that has made a meaningful impact through collaboration and support of play therapy services within the community. This award highlights partnerships that expand access, promote awareness, and enhance the well-being of children and families.
Recognizes a licensed professional who demonstrates excellence in the clinical application of play therapy. This award honors individuals who consistently provide high-quality, developmentally appropriate care and show a strong commitment to ethical practice and continued professional growth.
President’s Award
Recognizes an individual who has made exceptional contributions to the Arkansas Association for Play Therapy and the advancement of its mission. This award honors leadership, dedication, and service that have significantly impacted the organization.

Scholarship Opportunities
ArAPT is committed to supporting both current and future professionals in the field of play therapy. Scholarships are available to assist with attendance at our annual conference.
Scholarships are awarded annually. We encourage all eligible applicants to apply.
Professional Scholarship
Supports a practicing mental health professional in attending the ArAPT Annual Conference. This scholarship is designed to promote continued learning, professional growth, and engagement in the play therapy community across Arkansas.
Student Scholarship
Supports a student pursuing a career in mental health in attending the ArAPT Annual Conference. This scholarship encourages early involvement in play therapy training and helps foster the next generation of professionals in the field.
