Donna is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S), Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor (RPT-S™), and Animal-Assisted Therapy Interventionist. She is the owner of Fort Smith Therapy & Wellness, a group practice based in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Donna earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia and her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Community Counseling from John Brown University in Siloam Springs.

She has extensive experience working in both outpatient and school-based settings, serving children, adolescents, families, and couples. In addition to her clinical work, Donna serves as an adjunct faculty member at Southern Arkansas University, where she teaches counseling courses. Separately, she provides clinical supervision to Licensed Associate Counselors (LACs) and clinicians pursuing play therapy credentialing (RPT™).

Donna is also the co-founder of River Valley Community Outreach, a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing access to quality mental health services for underserved populations in the River Valley.

She is a published author of the therapeutic children’s book Josh’s Mom Went to Heaven, which supports children navigating grief and loss.

In her free time, Donna enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Her hobbies include baking, gardening, embroidery, decorating, and DIY projects.
